An open book displaying the layout of the "12HRS" travel book, highlighting Freese Coffee Co. with images of the café, its interior, and a bicycle outside.

12HRS is a travel website that offers 12-hour itineraries for various cities, focusing on off-the-beaten-path attractions, secret spots, and a special emphasis on fashion, design, and architecture. This book editorial design project was part of a university assignment.

The project requirements included designing a book layout that mirrors the unique, curated experience of the 12HRS website. I studied the 12HRS website to understand its brand identity and content style. Then, I organized the content into sections based on the 12-hour itineraries, ensuring a logical flow and easy navigation. For the design execution, I developed a minimalist yet sophisticated design, using ample white space, high-quality images, and clear typography to reflect the brand’s modern aesthetic. Finally, I iterated on the design based on feedback to enhance clarity and visual appeal.
